Sarah started her yoga journey in June 2016 due to her suffering from low self esteem and high levels of anxiety. It became apparent quite quickly the positive effects yoga was having on her life outside of the mat. After a few months I knew I wanted to share this knowledge & practice to help people the way it has helped me. I completed my yoga teacher training over a year whilst still flying full time with Emirates Airline. Sarah left the airline in september 2018 to purpose her dream of becoming a full time yoga teacher. Since then she has qualified as a personal trainer, calisthenics coach and mobility instructor.

Koločep is a small and peaceful island, just a 20 minute boat ride to Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful and historic cities/islands in Croatia. With a population of 160 people, Koločep island is a perfect place to relax, meditate, and enjoy the untouched nature of Croatia. On the island there are no cars, just a perfect place to retreat.

The Villa we are staying is only 2 minutes away from the beach – spreads on 2 floors and has 7 bedrooms. 4 Big bedrooms, 3 twin bedrooms, and one single room. There are 3 bathrooms inside the house and one bathroom outside in the garden. The house has terraces, a balcony and stars gazing spots. Sun loungers in the garden are the perfect spot for your relaxing day on this peaceful Island.


Sarah teaches Traditional Hatha & Vinyasa classes with her signature style being her “Freedom Flows”. Here she mixes asana with movement with emphasis on moving in sync with your own breath. The addition of repetition throughout enables you to flow more easily and hopefully gain an experience of moving meditation. This whole class, the asanas and movement will be set to a theme in order to stimulate not only the body but the mind as well.

The practice is suitable for everyone from Beginners to Professionals.



All our dishes are catered by our u-retreat chefs. They are carefully designed in a way to be highly nutritious, infused with well being and inspired by passion for plant based minimalist cooking. They are nurturing all senses, elevating mind and feeding the body. We aspire to inspire all participants to reconnect with their own passion for healthy, effortless and satisfying cooking.

We believe in beauty and freshness of food, we celebrate seasonal produce and whole gluten free grains. We offer simple, light, nutritious and delicious meals to support you on your transformational journey and, in the future, on your daily activities. All our food is made by us from scratch. Payment Conditions:

Regular Booking:
Down payment of 40% – due upon booking confirmation. Final payment of 60% – due 9 weeks prior the retreat.

Cancellation Conditions:
In case of customer cancellation no later than 4 weeks before the start of the Event, 60% of the total price will be refunded. In case of later customer cancellations, a refund is no longer possible for organizational reasons. Premature terminations or non-attendance of the Event does not entitle the customer to a refund. If the customer notifies in writing, at least 4 weeks before the start of the Event, by submitting the relevant documents, that he was unable to attend the Event due to missing entry visa, even though the entry visa has been applied for in good time, he is entitled to a full refund of the total price paid. In case your flight arrives earlier, we will let you know what you could do until the start of the retreat.

Closest Airport is Dubrovnik – we recommend taking a taxi to the port where our boat will be waiting for you to bring you to the island. All information will be sent to you before the retreat.

  • I started a very unexpected journey with Sarah at the age of 52. Yoga was never my preferred way of moving my body. But after knee surgery and a long recovery period I needed to find an alternative way to exercise. I started doing yoga by following videos on YouTube and then I learned about Sarah's yoga sessions on Kite beach. I attended the first session and after that I was completely hooked. Sarah helped me gain a deeper understanding about gratitude, love and grace while I was doing yoga and unwittingly my life took on a deeper meaning on so many levels. Sarah also challenged me mentally and physically and pushed me over my limiting mental borders. After Sarah's handstand workshop I am certainly rid of my " I cannot do that" attitude as Sarah's advice and encouragement made me achieve physical breakthroughs that I never thought were possible. I will keep on attending Sarah's classes. For me it was life-changing.

  • Sarah is an amazing yoga teacher, she is very grounded and approachable and really connects to everyone in the room. I love taking her classes as the flow of the class is always fun with a lot of movement around the mat to really get a sense of a moving meditation. She is a very relatable teacher who cares a lot for her students and brings a lot of inspiration and advice into her classes through having themes and new insights in every practice. She's a fantastic teacher to really bring your practice up a notch as she encourages you to leave your fears outside and creates a safe environment to practice new asanas especially inversions in which she's a master at.
